Newspapers lead the way

In the community assessment released this week, it gave us an interesting look at how people prefer to get their information:

Newspapers led the way with 24 percent, followed by the Internet at 16 percent.

The exact question asked:
"How do you prefer to get timely community information?"

Printed materials (flyers, brochures): 13 percent
Seminars/workshops/classes: 7 percent
Newspapers: 24 percent
Internet: 16
Television – commercial stations: 13 percent
Television – local cable access: 15 percent
Radio: 11 percent
Other: 1 percent
